tax issue - please help - site is live

I just got an order and the tax is off when a discount coupon is used. Can someone please help?

Here are the numbers:
Sub-Total: $86.00
Discount Coupon : -$17.20
Table Rate (Best Way): $10.00
TX TAX 8.25%: $5.09
Total: $83.89

Please show an example of proper tax without the coupon being used. Would you post your site URL?

here are some figures for a correct transaction with tax and no coupon
Sub-Total: $55.00
Table Rate (Best Way): $8.00
TX TAX 8.25%: $5.20
Total: $68.20

any help is greatly appreciate, since this error doesn't show up except for instance when the discount coupon is used and tax is calculated. this error does not show up if a discount coupon is applied and there is no applicable tax. the site is style(dash)scene(dot)com

Ok, I see that tax is working ok with out the coupon. Have you tried any adjustments on how tax on the coupon is figured?
Admin>Modules>Order Total>Discount Coupon

Ok. It's kind of odd, because when I use these figures it calculates correctly (So, I'm not sure why the first figures didn't calculate correctly):

Sub-Total: $55.00
Discount Coupon: grechen : -$8.25
Table Rate (Best Way): $8.00
TX TAX 8.25%: $4.52
Total: $59.27

These are the settings I have:
Include Shipping: false
Include Tax: false
Re-calculate Tax: standard
Tax Class: none

Ok. I think the error happens when there is multiple items in the cart (doesn't apear when there is only one item in the cart) and when a discount code and tax is applied. So, any help with this case...

I am having the same problem. The tax is not calculating when a discount coupon is used.
