Warning Message

Hello

I'm getting this message at the top of my control panel screen, is there something I need to do?

"WARNING: The Admin Activity Log table has records over 2 months old and should be cleaned ... 10-07-2006"

The admin_activity_log table records all movement through the Admin ...

As it gets larger, 50,000 records, or older, 60+ days, a warning is posted that you should clean it out ...

This will empty the old records as you do not need a monster table of data taking up space on your site ...

NOTE: you don't have to empty it ... but it really hasn't a purpose unless there is a problem, and the older records are not related to the immediate problem so clean up has a nice feature to save you from making errors to do so ...

Are you saying there is an option in the control panel which will allow me to empty the table?

There is an link in your Zen Cart Admin where you see the message to take you to the Tools ... Store Manager ... to help you clean out these old records ...
