customizing sideboxes

ok a little background i have a oscommerce site....and i making a new site so i am giving zen a try....i like alot of the stuff about zen but i have not found out how to make each side box have their own custom jpg on top of them....i was able to do this with oscommerce and i know there is way to do it but all of my attempts have failed...any suggestions would be great...thanks for any help and in advance and have a great day!

The categories header can be addressed in the style sheet with

h3#categoriesHeading .leftBoxHeading {background-image: url(path to image);}
