What did your host change, or what addons have you installed recently?

Have you recently installed any addons?
    Any new shipping modules?
It is likely that you've introduced a change which is now causing some confusion.

I noticed that when I changed the template to my Custom template then the error appears. Any suggestion what I can do to fix this?

Thanks for the update that the error was due to a modification that you had made and that you were able to fix this ...

Use your Developers Toolkit or another text-search tool to locate all references to "http_client.php" ... There are only a couple places where you "should" find this in a default v1.3.7 install:
    Code:
    /includes/classes/http_client.php
    /includes/modules/shipping_estimator.php
    /includes/modules/pages/checkout_shipping/header_php.php
    /includes/modules/pages/gv_send/header_php.php
    /includes/modules/payment/paypalwpp.php
... anything else could be the cause of your problems...
