Tax not changing with Shipping address

The weirdest thing!!

(I'm using Ver:1.3.0.2)

For a test, I have set ColoradoTax =10% and another Florida=5%.

Both sales tax zones work out fine if a user wants shipping to his registered address: either Colorado or Florida.
Example: Mr Colorado originally registered with a Colorado address. If he wants shipping to his Colorado address. Tax is correctly shown.

BUT if Mr Colorado wants shipping to his Florida beach front address the Tax = 0 !! (lucky dude!!)

Nonetheless poor Mr Florida who wants delivery to his registered Florida address Tax = 5%!!

Similarly however, Mr Florida gets lucky if he changes his shipping address to his Colorado penthouse, his Tax =0, but infact Colorado tax is set at 10%!!

Does anyone know why this is happening?

You should really upgrade to v1.3.7 ... there were numerous bugs and security fixes since that version ... about 4 versions ago ...

This may very well fix your issues right off ... or make fixing the problems easier after you upgrade ...

but i cant do it now because internet conn in Shanghai is exasperatingly sloooooooow (due to earthquake in Taiwan last week) and a download would take forever plus a day!!

Will get back but In the meantime ya think it's a little bug right? You havent seen this prob before?

I am pretty sure that is a known bug when address was changed during checkout it was not picking up the zone ...

This was fixed in v1.3.6 ... although the current version is now v1.3.7 ...

okey dokey. thanks for the confirm. and i'll get back to ya just as soon as i've managed to download and install the new version. looking forward to updating but must say i'm a little nervous about potential transistional hiccups too! tonikaku ganbarimasu!
