I need to find a way to associate different sizes to a product. Assigning an individual part number to the size, but have it display as one product. I am at my wits end just about with it, and just had to rebuild my store after attempting to install the attributes module.

If I understand the question, you want to associate model/part numbers with attributes of a certain product.

Zencart doesn't do that, and, as you found out, the mod which claims to make that happen doesn't work (that mod should be removed).

I beleve that feature is scheduled for a future version, but I don't know if it's the next one or not.

If you want to set separate attributes for each product, you could include the part number in the attribute name.
