Product Info Page not found!! - Please Help

Hi

this is my first use of ZenCart so I'm still finding my feet.

I've added my first product which shows up in New Products for January
and shows on Category Menu.

When I click to view the product details page I get 'page not found'

I have tried switching templates to see whether it's a page I need to have added to my 'custom' template folder, but I get the same result on all templates.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Does the following directory exist on your site, and if so, which files does it have in it?

includes/modules/pages/product_info/

No Product_info directory exists, let alone any files in it!!

Did I miss this off in the instal?

Yep. This would be the problem. The missing directory should contain the header file that prepares data to be shown on the page you are calling. No directory / header file causes you to be jumped to the 404 page not found page (albeit with a visitor-friendly sitemap).

Did you leave it off the install? Well that's a bit of a mystery. Unless you selectively installed the release pack, it should be there . So this rather begs the question, are there going to be other files missing?

You're running Zen Cart 1.3.6 with a properly separately out template. So my recommendation would be to overwrite your existing fileset with the 1.3.7 release package and upgrade your database (taking care not to install, though with just a handful of categories and a single product it wouldn't be catastrophic if you did). At this stage of the development that should be a quick and easy upgrade and a lot less risky than bashing on with doubts about what other files might be missing.
