move greeting to main text?

How can I move the greeting to the main index text?

eg: "welcome Guest, to erotic.ie, blah blah blah etc."

I have comented out the "would you like to sign in" text in the index.php file and when I go to move the welcome guest portion, I get

"would you like to sign in?-->-->

welcom guest, to blah blah."

anyone know, much appreciated

OK, was rsult of commenting out in tpl_index_default.php, instead of deleting

But now I have
" Welcome Guest

to erotic.ie, ......"

How can I move the welcome text inline to with the first paragraph? I already have moved the echo zen customer greeting inside the conent div,
this was workin how I wanted when last post, but not now....????

ZC is very user friendly, please try to play around with the configuration before you mess up with the code

I think to disable the greet just need to do this:

admin->configuration->layout setting->Customer Greeting - Show on Index Page->0

Wonder if anyone can help me here?
I have got to this stage but would like to change the welcome wording.
At present it reads :- Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in?


I would prefer to change it but cant work out how to?
Is it possible to put an image there too?

Im new to all this zen stuff as im more used to working on forum V bulletin boards.

Admin - Tools - Developers Tool Kit - search for 'log yourself' to find the file where this is defined and change the text there. Don't forget to set up your override folders first and save the edited file there.
