Spanish / Español para Zen Cart 1.3.7

Hi all,

I would like to translate into spanish for v1.3.7, but formal spanish, although I am not native speaker.

Please can anybody indicate me if v1.3.6 can be used or not, so I don't waste time in translating...Thanks all..


Quisiera traducir v1.3.7 en espanol, pero en espanol formal, aunque no es mi idioma maternal.

Por favor alguien me puede indicar si la v1.3.6 es compatible así no pierdo tiempo en traducir...

thanks for answering.
Sorry my request maybe is not clear.
I am just not sure whether I can use the translation made for v1.3.6 also for v1.3.7...
During comparing the spanish files between v1.3.6 and v1.3.7 some were different, this is why I had teh doubts...

Anyway I started to translate/change my own version, which doesn't mean that v1.3.6 is wrong or bad, it is quite the contrary. It is just that few things I would say different, which also doesn't mean that I am right. Most of the translation was very good and most important for me that it is the first I found in formal spanish...

I would say it's safe to use the 1.3.6 language pack as long as you go back and compare the language files that did change.

We are working in the spanish translation for 1.3.7 in zencartes.com (the ZenCart spanish community). We will start translating formal spanish first.

PROBLEMS with Spanish pack!! I have been struggling with the aforementioned Spanish Pack for a few months now. Everywhere I look I find incomplete DEFINEs and proprietary information for GORKA URRUTIA in the php files. Example below. Can someone PLEASE validate that a future Spanish pack DOES NOT include information like this. I can be very misleading to people that do not speak the language and think they can just upload these files and have their site tranlsated into full <insert language here>.

It would be a shame for someone to do this and have their money wired to someone else's account (see below!)

Es posible utilizar los archivos en español de la version 1.3.6 en la version 1.3.7?

I noticed that there is a Spanish Language Pack 1.3.7 contribution by Jorge.
My zen-cart development site is www.aaadisplaygroup.net
We are using zencart 1.3.7 and the applezen template.
We are ready to install the Spanish language pack but I have not seen any feedback to know if the Spanish pack is actually funcitonal. Do you have any experience with it? I went to your website but the only version that is listed is the 1.3.6.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I installed the spanish language pack 1.3.7 and it seems to work smoothly. Thank you Jorge! There are may things that need to be edited and buttons to be added for my site but that was expected.
I will be completing the english side and making the appropriate changes to the spanish side as time permits. Can the spanish language opton be tured off when I am not working on it? The options are "EDIT" or "DELETE" and delete is scary!
