Free Shipping over $30, but other shipping options

I have my shop set up to offer free shipping on orders over $30. But that shipping method would be the cheapest possible, i.e. First Class Mail, Parcel Post. I need a way that the customer can select either the free "basic" shipping, or upgrade to something like Priority Mail, Express Mail, which would be calculated shipping. Can anyone advise me on this?

Sweet! I think I figured it out, after much hair-pulling. I DISABLED free shipping on orders over $XX.XX in Admin>Modules>Order Total. Then I ENABLED Free Shipping Options (freeoptions) in Admin>Modules>Shipping. I set that up as follows:
Enable Free Options Shipping
True

Shipping Cost
0.00

Handling Fee
0

Total >=
30.00

Total <=
(blank)

Weight >=
0

Weight <=
0

Item Count >=
0

Item Count <=
0

That worked!~ Hopefully this will help someone else, too.

I have just one question, but it's no big deal if it's not possible to do simply. Is there any way I can disable USPS Parcel Post (I only ship USPS) when an order becomes eligible for free shipping (in this case, over $30)? I want only Priority & Express Mail to be an option.

Currently ... there is are several ways to offer Free Shipping ...

Free Shipping on orders with all products marked as Always Free Shipping or where 0 weight means Free Shipping will use the Free Shipping freeshipper shipping module as all other shipping modules are hidden ...

Free Shipping on orders >= $XX.XX as set in the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping ...

Free Shipping at the same time as all other Shipping Modules using Free Shipping Options freeoptions ... as you have currently setup ...

Free Shipping on downloads - automatic and downloads do not show - note: Do NOT set products to VIRTUAL and/or Always Free Shipping as Downloads are NOT Virtual nor are they Always Free Shipping products ... this means something else ...

Free Shipping on Virtual Products - this skips the shipping page automatically ...

Otherwise, you need to make something more customized to control Free Shipping ...

However, I would like to provide additional Value-added service such as Registered Article which is chargeable if my customer requires such service.

At the moment, all I am seeing at Step 1 of the Checkout process, within the Free Shipping Options is just "Free Shipping". Is it possible to add more radio buttons to show that there are other Value-added services available? Thanks.
