Del gift voucher history?

I sent a test gift voucher, but now I want to delete it in the Gift Voucher's Sent screen. There is no option..even after I reedem it? Or, is this left here for historical purposes?

GVs are cash ... as such you really want a tracking for historical purposes of GVs that are sent out ...

We will be adding on to the GVs in a future release ...

If already sent out, login to your site and claim it for yourself ...

Once a GV is redeemed it cannot be redeemed by another person ...

i have the same problem with my testing zen cart @ first as well...I still have the original test GV's from back in the day on my admin page also...can i just "empty" the table "Table: coupon_redeem_track" in the database?

is there any prediction of the date of releasing the future version of zen cart with the possibility of GVs and or accounting history ?
in fact I am looking to find a solution that the customer and admin can get access to a history of the bought GVs or GV sent to the others by the customer etc in which we can follow the transactions in a visible way.

I'm finding myself in the same situation now. I sent several test gift vouchers to myself and now need to delete them.

I'm looking at the coupons table with phpMyAdmin and I'm wondering if just deleting the records for these vouchers in the coupons table is all I need to do to delete them completely or do I need to delete something else elsewhere and will I mess up anything in doing so?

Also, if I wanted to void a gift voucher, I see there's the column coupon_active, do I just need to change this from 'Y' to 'N' and, again, would I mess up anything by doing so?
