When you follow the message instructions and go to:
Admin->Tools->Server Information .... what version does it say you have for Zen Cart and for the Database ?

Zen Cart 1.3.7
Database Patch Level: 1.3.6
v1.3.6 [2007-01-09 20:07:01] (Fresh Installation)
I had that issue too, after doing an upgrade on my test site. I used fantastico and it doesn't seem to upgrade the DB.
So, I looked in the full-fileset and copy/pasted the code from zc_install/sql/mysql_upgrade_zencart_136_to_137.sql into the text box in the admin/tools/Install Sql patch/ area.
Fixed.
And you can run the installer/update again if you want.
Can you explain this in further detail for those of us that are zen-cart challenged?
I found the mysql_ugrade_zencart_136_to_137.sql file, but don't know how to:
1. get to the "code" to copy it
2. gest to the install SQL patch/area to place it
If you can guide me with detailed steps, it'd be much appreciated!
You can use notepad to open the file and copy the code. Then go to your admin->tools->Install SQL Patches and copy the code.
Remember to backup your database before installing any patches.

I am lost, where do I find the file "mysql_upgrade_zencart_136_to_137.sql"??
And how do I use it to patch?
Thanks,
Anita
Running the Zen Cart Installer and selecting the button labelled 'Upgrade Database' might be mundane, but it's a whole lot less dangerous than cutting and pasting SQL.
Whoo hoo, I downloaded the Zen Cart newest version and found the patch in there and I copied and pasted and it totally solved my issue. Thank goodness.
Thanks
Anita
