I am building a site for a performance auto company. They want to be able to search for parts based on the vehicle. I have added the attributes and options, but was wondering if there is a built in way to search by attribute or option.

Not natively - you can clone the manufacturer listing or use it for make
Zen-Venom Get Bitten
Yeah, I was looking at that. Are you able to have more than one manufacturer for the same product?
I think I am just going to edit the header_php.php file in the advanced search, and join the existing query to the attributes. Just wanted to see if I was missing something obvious that could save some time.
THanks!
I have looked through the forums but still have not seen how to accomplish this - I too would like to have the ability to filter a category by a secondary means (just like you can with the manufacturer)
It seems like I would just need to duplicate the code used for "manufactuer" but just just give it another name (like "Type" or "Style")
Any ideas on where to start!
