    Default Checkout process doesn't progress for certain countries

    Hi Guys,

    We've recently been alerted to the fact that, when a user selects their country as being anything other than the UK, they enter an infinite loop in the checkout process whereby when they select Submit from the Delivery Information page they are taken back to the Delivery Information page (yet there is no error message)

    All of our countries and zones are set-up for Europe and the US yet it only works when the delivery address is somewhere within the UK.

    Any ideas?

    What version of Zen Cart are you running?

    Is this a Clean install or an Upgrade?

    If an upgrade, from what version and how did you do the upgrade?

    Is there an URL we can see to look at the problem?

    What Payment Modules are you using? Do any have Zones set?

    What Shipping Modules are you using? Do any have Zones set?

    Hi Ajeh,

    Your questions prompted me to find the solution (we built the site in 2005 so I was a little rusty to say the least!)

    The answer was that we only use the Flat Rate shipping module and had set it up for only one zone: The United Kingdom. I've changed that to -none- and the job's a good'un!

    Thanks for the update that your Zone setting was blocking anyone outside the UK from using the Shipping module and stopping them from being able to checkout ...
