Ready to CLEAR out DEMO Data

Hello.. I am a newbie from the OSCommerce area...

I am ready to start testing with REAL shop data and would like to CLEAR out the DEMO database without having to reinstall...
also, I have been trying to find posts on Backing Up the DB without having to go to MySQL and doing it manually ?? and...(whew!) is there a method to dump the new store into a CVS (Excel) file to manipulate and add products (like 200-300) and easily Upload the new database... similar to the OSCommerce attempt at EasyPopulate ??

Sure appreciate your opinions and advice !

First Off - W E L C O M E ! ! !

In the admin > catalog > categories/products > you will see the categories of the demo set and at the right a red circle with an "X" in it ? click the red "X" and repeat or alternatively select the green status button to disable

In the downloads section there is a mod to add this to the admin Mysql Plugin

Easy Populate is also written for Zen Cart both a free ver and a paid ver and you should search this site for DB conversion from osc
