    Default Need Clarification on Paypal/ Echeck issue

    Needed some clarification and didn't want to hijack anyone else's thread.

    I have a customer that paid by paypal and the order never showed.

    I have searched the forums and found numerous posts about this patch

    Does this work for IPN as well as Express Check out?

    Is this the same issue I am having?

    Do the orders ever show up (once the payment has cleared?)

    someone mentioned "recover stuck paypal records" in a post and I would love to know if that is possible. Is there a way to recover this order.

    I installed the patch and then enabled Express Checkout and tried it out. The Express checkout has no issues with the echecks, but when I checkout using paypal IPN and an echeck there is still no copy of the order and no order number is given at time of check out.

    Are you using the Feb 8 patch or the earlier patch?

    The February 8 patch is not working for me either. Orders with e-checks still do not show up. As a matter of fact, PayPal Express hangs up and does nothing. I removed the module and will only use IPN.

    I gave up on IPN and was using PayPal Express until it quit working unexpectedly last night (I had no problem with it before, but received an email that a customer was getting an error message and now when you try to check out with PayPal Express I get this error message:

    What error are you getting? It seems to be working from here.

    I have no preference as to which PayPal checkout method I use, I would just like one to work!

    About 99% of my customers pay with PayPal
