help with categories

Hi all,

I have been looking for far to long in the forum and help files and cannot see what i am looking for. What i want to do it make my categories in bold then the sub categories normal with a gap between each category.

this is what i want to do

Computer hardware (in bold)
sub 1
sub 2
sub 3
GAP HERE
Computers & Laptops (in bold)
sub 1
sub 2
GAP HERE

You might find some help if you download and install the "better categories" module
