Sort By Date Added!!

I know I am not the only one that needs this figured out! I realize you can sort the items by date added in the all products, new products, and so on sections but I need to sort my products by date added in my categories. My store sells high-fashion womens clothing and we are always adding new stuff and we want those things to always pop up first in the category. Please help my newbie-***!

The Q&D method is to use the sort order value when entering products - in you case start at 100000 and each ne item decrement this by 1 so that the newly added always is sorted to the top

Thanks for the help Kobra. I am guessing this is the only way to do so huh? It seems like there should be way to just pick sort by date since there is in All Products. Do you know why this is? Thanks

Not a clue and actually not sure that there is not a switch as Ajeh adds them all the time
