    Default Paypal IPN Issue after upgrade to 1.3.7

    Since upgrading from 1.3.6 to 1.3.7, I had a paypal purchase complete but not show up in my store admin, as many have posted in older threads in the past. Most related to pre-1.3.5. This purchase shows up when I goto customers/paypal IPN and has a status of completed. However, when you click on the order, I get an error saying "Error: Order does not exist". It is the only place in admin I was able to see the order at all. The transaction TYPE is "Cleared-Address" and the payment status is "Completed". Any ideas why it doesn't show up anywhere in admin except here? And why it says the order does not exist when clicked on? I also noticed if I change the Payment status in this IPN report to any of the statuses other than "ALL" the payment does not show up in any of them, only in "ALL". Any advise is appreciated.

    1. Grab the latest patches to PayPal support for v1.3.7:
    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56216

    2. Install PayPal Express Checkout module from the Admin menu (or Edit it if it's already installed). Then, if you're not using Express checkout, you can remove the module again. This simply updates the database table structure used for PayPal (EC and IPN).

    The patch includes several IPN fixes as well.

    This should help resolve most of the issues you're seeing. Feel free to report back with updated information after performing some tests etc if things still aren't right for some reason.

    I installed the patch (the 2/19/07) and installed EC support. Haven't gotten back to the IPN problem yet, but having a problem with EC. When clicking the paypal EC button (both from cart page before checkout as well as after checkout confirmation) I get the following error: (And no email alerts BTW)

    Warning: urlencode() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /hsphere/local/home/tstampli/impressionslast.com/includes/modules/payment/paypal/paypal_curl.php on line 408

    Any help here is appreciated!

    oops

    that line 408 in the paypal_curl.php file was added in the Feb 19 patch and shouldn't have been left like that. It needs to be removed or commented out -- just add 2 slashes to the beginning like this:
    Code:
    //    $response .=  ($commErrNo != 0 ? '&CURL_INFO=' . urlencode($commInfo) : '');
