I have a client I'm working with in the early stages of providing support for an e-commerce site. She does a lot of sales with US Gov't agencies and she does sell to them using a GSA pricing schedule. However her big goal for an e-commerce site is to expand beyond her local market.
I know I can create a Group Pricing for an across the board discount, but I believe prodcuts will vary in what percentage the discount is.
It would be nice if you could setup multiple Group Pricing options, then cluster them as a single Group. For example I could have GSA-5 (5% Discount), GSA-7 (7% Discount), GSA-10, GSA-12, etc... and then link them all in a group titled "GSA Pricing".
"GSA Pricing" is what you would then apply to a customer, but the GSA-5, -7, -10, -12, etc is what you'd apply to a specific product.
So if Bob the GSA Guy orders 5 different products that range in their discounted levels, Zen-Cart would know to apply a 5% discount to Widget-X and 12% to Widget-Z.
Hope that makes sense. :)
