Attribute Stock

I know there are several threads about this but I am starting up a new shop and have colour option attributes for products which i added to the products but I can't set a stock level for each colour option. I installed the Stock by Attributes add on but it didn't work right (or not what I thought it would do) and it let me add more quantity to the shopping cart than what was in stock.

Is there any other add ons which won't let customers add more quanity than what I set as the stock quantity. Otherwise I'll have to add each colour as a new product so I can set the stock levels but I don't really want to do that.

Do you have a URL to your site?

Stock by Attributes mod works great... sounds like your settings might be wrong in:

Admin/Stock/Allow Checkout (should be set to false)

Thanks for your help, it is working now :) I think I must of gone wrong by not setting the allow checkout to false
