One user account for many different store - It's possible ?

Hi, I would to know if it is possible to set zencart to work in this way:

Store 1 - clothes(for example)

Store 2 - wine

Store 3 - furniture

when user sign up in one of the three(or more) store the account then will be valid also for other shop and he doesn't need to re-register but he only has to log-in with name and password ...

It's possible ???

perhaps working on database ...?

AFAIK, it would depend on the version of mysql you were using. I think newer versions will support UNION tables across multiple databases. That might be something to investigate. In that manner, each database would have it's own users table, but in fact, they would all be pulling data from one source.

It's possible to make the registration process automatic ?

I'm thinking about a different (from zencart one) module to sign up and then a script that use this data to sign up in different stores in automatic way ...

do you think it's possible ?

It is very possible I do it all the time.

1) You need to start with stores with no members.

2) Disable registration. http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50701

3) Create a mall front door with a registration form.

4) The form inserts the same data into all the stores via php script.

5) This way the unique user ID is always the same for other uses later.
