Default Upgrading 1.32 to 1.37. Site in wrong directory

    Hi Yall,

I have successfully upgraded my site (yay me!) only it's in a sub-directory in a folder called 'temp' so the new site is accessible via www.domain.com.au/temp.

I now want to make it live on www.domain.com.au. I tried to move my Temp folder to the top level, renamed Public_html to something else and made Temp to be Public_html but that doesn't work. 'Obviously' some of you will say, well not so obvious to me. :)

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm so close, I can't give up now!

    Cheers!

    You need public_html...

If you are using FTP - open to /temp and grab all the files + folders and drop them on the folder/dir at the top(one up) and this will move them all to the root.

Then open and edit your 2 configure.php files and change the '/temp/' entries to '/' and of course save and upload

    Thanks so much Kobra,

If I do that, it will overwrite all of the current folders (the current live site). Is that right? Of course, I have a back up of all of those files if I really screw it up.

If you have not attempted this yet - you can create a directory like "old" and move the files/filders currently at the root to this folder first...

    Ok, tried that and got:

    Not Found

The requested URL /zc_install/index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Yikes!! Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Did you change the paths in your /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php files?

Thanks afo, I just went through the forum and found the problem so that's fixed, thanks!

Only the whole reason I upgraded was because it was suggested in another post that my GST wasn't adding when using the 'group discount' because it was a known bug and an upgrade may fix it.

    That thread is at: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...p+discount+tax

After testing, this problem still exists for me so I can only assume I am doing something wrong. Er! I have been playing with every combination of the Order Total module and just don't know what to do next.

Could you help with this? It's simply that tax is not adding when using the group discount.

    Thanks a lot,
    Linda
