removing description from catagory page

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help with this. I am working on a site, www.expressservicesonline.com/cart , and we would like the catagory page to just display the product/service name and an image but then when the name is clicked and the product page comes up, the description is displayed there. Is this possible?

I think you are looking for:
Configuration>Product Listing
or
Catalog>Product Types>Edit Layout

You really have to do something with those images ... they are monsters ...

1 they are too big for the small images

2 they are physically too big for click on for a larger view ...

Can you explain a bit more on what you need?

Where exactly do you want to see the Category Description?

Currently, it displays above the Product Listing ...

Right, thank you for the reply. firstly, I figured out how to display the description only with the product page and not with the catagory list from a previous post (thank you for that!)

Secondly, I appriciate your feedback on the images. humor me for a bit of explaination. I am building this site for a friend who is trying to be as hands on as possible. I know for sure that those ate not the final images as he is working on a map that is much simpler to go in their place. I will be sure to pass on your insight to him. What your note did make me realize though is that could be another reason for slow page loads.
