Pop Up Image Suddenly Stops Working

This issue seems to be coming back every few days and I cannot figure out why. The pop-up image suddenly stops working for no reason. I have to upload all the includes/modules/pages and the includes/templates/template_default files from a raw install folder to get it working again. I have absolutely no idea which file gets broken - only a fresh upload seems to have worked. But suddenly this does not seem to fix it either.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so how can it be solved?

Can anyone comment on this because it has just happenned again. I would be grateful for any insigts - it is very frustrating

It's probably a popup blocker built into your Antivirus or Browser. I get it too...

I have a very old computer (more than 18 months!) I use for testing, that has no fancy virtual Bill Gates policemen and it pops up everything just fine - so I guess it's your browser.

Have you an URL where it is not working for you that we could test to see if it is working for us?

I fixed it again by uploading and over-writing the pages. I have tweaked my pop-up stopper as suggested so will see if it happens again. If it does I will post a url here and maybe you can look for clues
