PayPal & Order confirmation again... German Bank Transfer

Hello,

I receive all PayPal made order confirmations fine.
Except "initiated payments from German Bank Transfer".
Notifications from PayPal arrive, no order confirmation is sent either me or the customer...so I don't know what they have ordered.

All PayPal settings are fine, email address is set correct (Iknow...case sensitive)
Latest PayPal IPN patches are applied

Just initiated payment order confirmations won't be sent out.

What do you mean by "initiated payments" ?

Ohh..sorry, missed that.
There is the possibility for German customers to pay by initiating a PayPal payment funded from their bank account.
So the payment status is pending as money has to be transfered to my PayPal account from THEIR Bank account.

Are you referring to an eCheck ?

Can you provide screenshots of the interface the customer uses to do this?

Hello Dr. Byte,

sorry, I was away for some days.
I attach two screenshoots, one with the user interface & the second what I receive after the customer has placed his order and cheked out using the "bank transfer" option in PayPal chekout.

The bug happens every time, he & me are not receiving any confirmation email.

I was checking my paypal settings at PayPal as well.
Payment Receiving Preferences > Option:
Block payments from users who:
Pay with eCheck for website and Smart Logo payments, or German bank transfer for all website payments except eBay
>This option is uncheked

I hope it's not too late to ask this ... do you have debug logging turned on ?
Can you post the PayPal logs ?

If debug logging isn't on, can you turn it on and do another test transaction?

Stupid me...have not thought about to turn it on.
I will do that now and try to have my sandbox do some tests.

Well, first of all: Sandbox sucks...you have to guess the user setup proccesses, even when reading their half complete manual.
However, you believe it or not:
I did a test order and.... all went smooth.

I received the confirmation twice (one for me and one for the sandbox user)

You have "pending_reason" = "unilateral" in the log data you posted. This indicates that the PayPal email address specified as "receiver_email" is not currently tied to a valid PayPal account, or is not yet a "Verified" account.
Granted, you did call this your "sandbox", even though you did the transaction on the Live PayPal servers. If it's sandbox, then it may not be important; however, it's tough to do a refund of the test transaction if it's not claimed into a PayPal account.

Would still like to see the data that comes back from live transaction attempts ...
