Tax not added to price in meta tag

I know that there are pros and cons to showing the price in the meta tag but I am competitive on some pricing and would like to show it. However, when I see my product listed in Google (hooray!) its showing a price without tax (aaah!). Did I miss a configuration somewhere?

Looks to me like google has done all your popup images and none of your pages yet ...

If you look at Yahoo ... it has many of your Product pages and they do include the price ...

You might want to add to your robots.txt something to stop the bots from looking at your popup files ...

is what I have seen in Google - the price is the problem as the meta tag title seems to be picking up the price without VAT - the page itself displays this in the same way ... I just hadn't noticed before. I have Display prices in admin with tax set to true. Is there some other option related to this?

Sorry thought your issue was also all those useless links for your site in the search engines ...

On the TAX what you need is to customize your file:
/includes/modules/meta_tags.php

And copy to your templates and overrides directory:
/includes/modules/meta_tags.php

And add in the tax setting you want to use for all prices ...

Now I am in Ohio ... what do I care about your tax?

Why would you want to show your prices on the search engines at a higher price?

Sorry for the delay in looking at this - out of circulation (hospital) for a while.

I've looked at includes/modules/metatags.php and kind of understand what it does but have no idea what the variable names are for tax settingsor where - and would be grateful if you could help on this.

I want the prices to be the same as those shown on the web site (even if it means they are higher) so that potential customers don't ask the question "why are the prices different", feel uncomfortable and go away!

Sadly we do have tax here.....
