Tax only applied to hard copy not to electronic copy of a book

The user see the description of the product and then chooses between two attributes (radio buttom)
The product (a book) that's taxable, now it has as attributes
a) hard copy
b) electronic copy.

What do I need to do so when they choose electronic copy don't charge the
tax associated with the product?

Because we are not sending the product they are downloading it

At the present time, Zen Cart does not allow the treatment of attributes as taxable by separate means.

You have a couple options:
1. Make them separate products, with separate tax classes set on them.

2. Make the product into an instant download with a CD copy to be mailed and then you can charge the tax because there *will* be a shipped product.

Otherwise the taxation infrastructure will need to be revamped to support attribute-level tax options.
