application error Re: Server Free Disk Space Error on Installation

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I have re-ftp'd and checked the file size and timestamp of every single file but still no go...

This is really giving me the .....

I'm using WS_FTP Pro and FileZilla to upload and both don't report any errors on upload.

What else can I try.... or can I get you to upload it for me if I gave you the permissions?

Is your server's errorlog reporting any errors ?

Are you able to get your PHP switched from CGI to ISAPI mode ?

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    htaccess_off doesn't work.

I've ask the ISP about changing it to ISAP so hopefully they come back soon.

How about I give you access to my ftp site and you upload it for me. I can't think of anything else to try.

I might have to go with a paid for shopping cart software....argh!!!!

    Hi Doc

The ISP said they won't change it from CGI to ISAP and the rename of the file to htaccess_off didn't work.

Do you have anymore suggestions? Do you know of which ISP ZEN Cart definitely works with? I may change to that ISP.

At the very top of this page is a link called "hosting". There you'll find a number of recommended hosts which have tuned their servers to work with eCommerce activity, especially Zen Cart.

I'm sorry to see the trouble you've been having.
I encountered a similar loop problem on a shared server a while ago, but renaming the .htaccess file was all that was needed in that case.

With further research, it appears as though the inner pages are losing big portions of the $_GET information supplied on the URL. Almost like it's being sanitized and stripped out rather than passed through to the script properly.

(It's a good thing the installer is being rewritten to use $_POST for v1.4 ...)
