Can i delete Gender in Customer Details !

I think i will delete it first in Database right ? Then customize my code *.php .
So how many *.php must i edit ?

Hello ,
I have just edited OK . Dont remember step by step which *.php to edit . But if you want edit you should find "Creat account ", " Module " and "Admin " .

Oh My! I hate to tell you - you could have just turned it off in the Admin > Configuration> Customer Details.

No , cant do that , i tested ! No options for Gender , i must customize :) .

lol no you dont have to customize,

if you look in the admin-> configuration -> customer details,

the first one
Email Salutation true

Email Salutation
Display salutation choice during account creation and with account information

set it to false

that option could do with a more descriptive name. I knew I could do this, but it still took me a half dozen scans to remember that the salutation was what defined gender options throughout the store

In the future the option for the salutation will not be tied to the gender and will be more flexible.

At least it doesn't still say Gender: Male () Female () - like some other shopping carts.
