removing the + and - from the clickable sort columns in product listing

I know it sounds weird but the customers do not like to see a "+" next to the price column in the product listing page - they think its like price+delivery or something!!

I KNOW!

Anywhere where is the page to alter or remove the + and -?

Tried lang files but cannot find it :)

Version - 1.2.4 I know we are trying to upgrade this year :)

In v1.3.7 ... you could just change that with a new setting in the Configuration ... Product Listing ...

Product Listing Ascending Sort Order
What do you want to use to indicate Sort Order Ascending?
Default = +

Product Listing Descending Sort Order
What do you want to use to indicate Sort Order Descending?
Default = -

You probably need to hunt this down in the functions and change the + and - on the sort display to something else ...

Most likely location in that old old buggy security risk version that you are running is:
/includes/functions/functions_general.php

and yes I know its a buggy version - just waiting on a new design to be confirmed then an upgrade to latest 1.3.7 is well due
