    Default Group Pricing and Paypal

I set up a group pricing with a discount and the discount is not transferring over to paypal. Everything else seems to be working fine... the discount is working properly and showing up in the checkout screen of zen cart, but how do I fix it so my customers with a group discount can actually pay?

Has anyone else run into this issue? I couldn't find mention of it on the forums... perhaps it's my own error.

I have set up a test user account that I have already assigned a group discount to. Here is the information...

    My Store: http://store.pinkpuppydesigns.com/
    User E-mail: [email protected]
    User Password: testing

If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

    Which PayPal are you using?

PayPal express has no one in a pricing group as customer's do not exist ...

PayPal IPN you can add the customer to a Group Discount for that customer ...

Which version of Zen Cart are you running?

It appears you're using Express Checkout.
    1. Have you installed the latest patch? http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56216

    2. Can you enable debug logging and try another test transaction, and then post your logs?

Sorry for my lack of information. Yes, I am using v1.3.7 as well as PayPal Express. I suppose I'll have to switch to just PayPal IPN. :-(

Thanks for all of the help!

During Express Checkout, if the customer uses the same email address in PayPal as they do in your store, then their group pricing membership should still apply to their order properly.

If they use "different" email addresses, then Zen Cart has no way of matching the accounts properly, so they will not get their discount unless they choose to log in first and do normal checkout (don't click on Orange button) and choose PayPal from the payments page.
