Winery website discount trouble

I've been beating my head against the wall too long on this one. The issue is with the peculiar way that discounts are done for wineries.

1st - I need to create a 10% case discount. Only problem here is that I need to count 1.5L bottles twice so that someone can order 3 1.5L bottles + 6 750ml bottles and that will equal a case (usually 12-750ml bottles).

2nd - We have wine club members who get 10% off of everything and 15% off of cases.

What I've done is use the coupon codes to set up 1) case discount, 2) case + wine club, 3) wine club only. Then I changed the coupon text box to a select and loaded in the discount codes, only displaying the case option when count_contents() >= 12 (doesn't deal with the 1.5L issue).

Phew! Anyhow, can anyone see a way to do this smarter?

Thanks Ajeh, I think I got this figured out. At least well enough. I'm using weight to substitute for bottle #. I use a 1 for 750ml and 2 for 1.5L. Then when I check for the quantity discount code to use I check the total weight. If it's >= 12 then I apply the case discount coupon.

Very much a hack, but it seems to work ok.
