errors after upgrade

I just upgraded my site, and have many errors, it worked fine until I tried to install sql patches in admin tools,install sql patch , these are the errors I am finding on my admin.

Error: There is currently no default currency set. Please set one at: Administration Tools->Localization->Currencies

ERROR_NO_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_DEFINED

Warning: Your Admin login is not secure ... either you still have default login settings for: ........ or have not removed or changed: demo demoonly
The login(s) should be changed as soon as possible for the Security of your Shop
Go to Tools->Admin Settings to change login IDs and passwords.
For additional Security for the Admin please see the /docs
Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels.
NOTE: You have no payment modules activated. Please go to Modules->Payment to configure.

What sql patches did you install????

I installed all the patches from zc install, I have now fixed my admin but still have the error:
Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels.
and now I do not have my catagories, and all my other settings, which I did have before I installed the patches.

You should allow these to be installed by running zc_install, then database upgrade only, and not via the admin
