Can't add image to Main Category

I've been trying to figure this out for hours and I'm hoping someone might have an answer to this???

For some reason when I add a new main category it isn't loading the category image (get the big red X) and these are images that are already working on the site. I can change an image to a category that I've already set up (before today) but images for new categories I'm adding today in the MAIN (top) categories won't work. New images for subcategories and sub-subcategories work just fine.

Any ideas? Doesn't make sense.

When you define this image for the category try reuploading it (there is an overwrite image if exists thing also) See if this is better
