Remove border around category box

Does anyone know how to remove the border around the center category box where it lists the categories? Thanks in advance.

you would do this through your css file.

find the area in your css that controls the category box and remove it or change the border color to the same color as your background color.

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried changing it in the stylesheet.css file but I have no luck. The border is still there. Can you point me to the right direction please? Thanks.

it should be in this class

.leftBoxContainer, .rightBoxContainer

do a search in you stylesheet

either remove the color tag or remove the border line

No, I am talking about the center category/product box where it displays the categories and products in grid view. Does that make sense?

Since you know exactly which area you mean, you can best find the right tag to style.
If you don't have it already, get the Firefox browser with its Web Developer extension. Information > Display Element Info will show you the class/id/etc applying to any element you highlight. Then you can add that to the stylesheet if necessary and style it there.

thats what i was just going to say firefox with web developer is the best also something else i use that has helped alot with css is Color Pick http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/ you can click on any color in your site and it gives you the html code for that color.
then you can search in your css file for that color and it shows you any class that uses that color its helped me alot with modifying css.


for instance you can click on the border get the color code and search your css for it, there is usually more then one class that uses a color but looking at the class you should be able to figure out which class is which

I still don't have luck in removing the border around the main center product listing box. I used to be able to do that in the earlier version. Can anyone else please help? Thank you.

Are you talking about dealbyethan.com? I don't see any border around the center category area, just on each individual one. If it's somewhere else, you are going to have to give us a link so we can help, or else use the tools mentioned to find it yourself.

Sorry, the one on my current webpage does not have a border. I am doing a test upgrade on a separate folder called test_shop2 and the border is there. Have a look at the following link.

The center box where 2xist products are has a border (left, right and bottom dotted line). How do I remove that? Thanks.
