    Default IPN Sandbox testing

Hello, I just started using the Zencart and I'm in the basic setup stage. I'm currently running the software on My PC under the local apache server.

The reason I'm asking this now is so that when I begin to move to My server online, I wish to have the procedures set up to quickly get the security and other various fine tuning tasks done. I've got a good handle on all of those and the final step will be the setting up of a 'payment' from My customers.

To do this, I would like to use the Express Checkout as well as the IPN and check/money order options.

What I need to know is, how do I set up the paypal IPN module to run against the sandbox test environment? I have searched this forum and the wiki and have found that the Express comes with a sandbox option in the initial set up, but the IPN does not.

Is there a variable I need to add to the module to set it to sandbox and if so, what file do I add this variable and at what location in the file?

    I have Zencart 1.3.7 installed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

To test IPN against the sandbox, edit the module's settings and look for the Mode for PayPal web services option:Set it to this for sandbox:
    www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

Apart from testing echecks, a live test is generally as good as a sandbox test.

Don't forget to do some live tests once you're happy with sandbox behaviour.

    *slapping forehead*

Okay, I see it. Completely overlooked the fact that I could put the sandbox url into that field.

I'll definitely do some live testing of the payment modules before going live with the site.

    Thanks for the feedback!
