    Default credit card number missing using offline CC module

    Hi...we received an order yesterday and noticed that the credit card number and CVV was not showing up either in the customer's order details or in the e-mail. All it said was 'credit card'. It was working great the last time someone made a credit card purchase, which was last month (most of our customers have been using PayPal). I've reinstalled the credit card module and tested it, and it still doesn't work. We also tried the Ceon Manual Card mod and that doesn't work as well. It seems like the credit card numbers are not being written to the database for either mod - we checked through phpMyAdmin. Is there anything we can do other than reinstalling the whole store and creating a new database, which would be a major pain? Thanks

    What are your settings in the Admin> Configuration> Credit Cards? What version of Zen Cart are you using?

    It's the 1.3.7 version.

    Here are the settings for the credit card mod:

    Credit Card Test Info:

    CC#: 4111111111111111
    Expiration: Any

    Enable Credit Card Module
    True

    Collect & store the CVV number
    True

    Split Credit Card Email Address
    [email protected]

    Payment Zone
    --none--

    Set Order Status
    default

    Sort order of display.
    1

    We also have a SSL certificate from GoDaddy (hey, it was inexpensive!); would that somehow interfere with writing the credit card number to the database?

    I've been going over all of the settings all morning to see if I missed anything - I've even tried using text e-mail only, reinstalling the credit card mod yet again, and still the same thing. It's so frustrating...any insight you can provide would be awesome!

    here are the settings for admin>configuration>credit cards:

    Credit Card Enable Status - VISA 1
    Credit Card Enable Status - MasterCard 1
    Credit Card Enable Status - AmericanExpress
    1
    Credit Card Enable Status - Diners Club
    0
    Credit Card Enable Status - Discover Card 0
    Credit Card Enable Status - JCB
    0
    Credit Card Enable Status - AUSTRALIAN BANKCARD 0
    Credit Card Enabled - Show on Payment 2

    Same here, I have the latest version of ZEN and using just the plain old manual CC option ( to process offline) EXCEPT: in my case the "Split" works but if I choose not to split the CC info and just leave it in admin there is nothing there. just blank. the CVV and Expiration are but not the card#

    anyone have an idea? thanks

    quick note: Now I removed the email from the "Split" box in the admin and now I get this email:

    WARNING: You have enabled the CC payment module but have not properly
    configured it to send CC information to you by email. As a result, you will
    not be able to process the CC number for orders placed using this method.
    Go to Admin->Modules->Payment->CC->Edit and set the preferred email address
    for sending CC information.



    Please direct this email to the Accounting department so that it may be
    filed along with the online order it relates to:

    Order: 4
    -----------------------------------------


    I dont want any emails, just the CC# in the admin area so that I can get get them and manually process them later... like my old zen carts (1.2.7)

    Sorry, but you have no choice in the matter. PCI compliance rules prohibit storing the CC# in the database without encryption.

    Hi,

    We're using a v1.3.7 install and have had a couple orders come through in the past month without credit card information as well. Going into Customers > Orders the orders have nothing but Credit card where normally the entire information is laid out. What can I do to track down the problem?
