Default Two Separate DHL Modules In One Cart...Is It Possible???

    Hi,

I have two distribution centers, one on the east coast, and one on the west coast. Each has their own DHL shipping account, system ID etc.

I would like to handle all transactions through this one cart, without having to install a separate shopping cart for each center. Where I am stuck at is the DHL shipping module only allows for one DHL account. How can I go about installing a second DHL shipping module for my other DHL account? I tried to change the name of dhlairborne.php to something like dhlairborne_west.php and uploading it to the modules/shipping section, but that didn't work at all.

If I can somehow get two dHL modules installed, I will be golden because I have figured out how to do the zones in such a way so that I can separate the two by the zone that includes all the states that center ships to.

    Thanks for your help,

    Robert

Default Two Separate DHL Modules In One Cart...Is It Possible???

Is it possible to set up two DHL modules in my one shopping cart? I have two DHL accounts, and would like to set it up so each one will ship to a different zone.

If someone could help me install two DHL modules I would appreciate it.
I tried to rename them to dhlairborne1.php & dhlairborne2.php. I changed all the references inside the php script to either airborne1 or airborne2 respectively. Each one works great by itself, but as soon as I upload both files at once, and then go to the shipping in admin, all the modules dissapear.

I guess the real question is this, does the shipping quote in the DHL module take the from address registered with my account, or does it use the from address that I have listed in the admin configuration? If it uses the account's registered address, then two modules would work great, but if it always uses the address I have in the admin, well then nevermind because two modules wouldn't make sense in that case.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Evidently it isn't possible since I haven't gotten a single response from anyone.

    Thanks.

You would clone the module and set one with one account and one with the other account and set the Zone for each as well ...

You might try a search on:
    clone shipping
    clone flat
    clone item
    clone ship*

And see if those can help you out on the concept of cloning modules ...
