    application error 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax

    Hi

    Does anyone know why I keep getting the error message "1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'true', 'false')..." every time I try to upload a sql file in the admin to install some modules (e.g. Froogle module, How did you hear about us module and FAQ module)? Please advise. Thanks.

    That's a current limitation of the sql-patch tool. Some SQL statements using \' symbols will encounter that problem.
    In that case, use phpMyAdmin instead.

    red flag Re: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax

    Thanks for your response. Does the 1064 error cause any harm to my website? Do I have to reserve anything I did?

    If I was to re-run the sql file in phpmyadmin instead, how would I do it? Do I have to drop the previously loaded tables first and then import the sql file into the current live database in phpmyadmin?

    red flag Re: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax

    Hi,

    I imported the sql file in phpmyadmin but received the following error. What should I do now?

    SQL query:

    INSERT INTO configuration_group
    VALUES (
    '', 'FAQ Manager - Categories Box', 'FAQ Manager Categories Box Settings', '1', '0'
    );

    MySQL said: Documentation
    #1146 - Table 'dealbyet_zc4.configuration_group' doesn't exist
