    Default Where is the path?

Hi, please forgive me but I am not a programmer, so I don't understand all the terminology.

I think I am getting closer to figuring out the "override" system.

When I see a folder named Classic, I need to create a new folder with another name.

That didn't make much sense to me until I saw this in the Wiki, saying that the overrides will work if:

The current path includes "template_default" or a template directory, such as "classic". Eg. /includes/templates/template_default/common/

What is the "current path"? I don't understand the terminology.

Is that something I set up in the Administration area?

I assume that the php script needs this "path," but... where in the php script does it go? On one page? On every page?

    I'm lost.

    Thanks for any help.

    Better and better

This statement would be confusing for one not into this...

Basically, this is already part of the code and you do not need to edit anything.

Just create folders that are named the same as the folder that you create for your template in includes/templates/your_folder - (This is a path...or how you find the way to your files)

Oh... okay... thanks. And then in the template_info.php file I just change where it says "classic green template" (or something along those lines) to the name I want to use for my template, right?

    I think I've got it.

    Appreciate the help.
