Deleting Images After Sale

Is there any disadvantage to deleting images of a product after it is sold? I don't see an advantage of leaving it on the site with a SOLD icon since my products are unique one-of-a-kind.

As long as you have set your store not to display out of stock items, you can safely delete the images.

BUT, Do you not require these for after sales reports and or statistics? What if you wish to see the product picture when you recieve any comebacks from your customer? Perhaps these could e used in promotional sections (previously sold, samples etc.)

You could simply set the product as limited (stock-level) under your admin - > products and set '1' for your product.
