red flag outdated version of PayPal error

Hi I am receiving after checking out following message. I have upgraded from 1.3.6 to 1.3.7 (without the db)

'Error You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks.'

Has anyone seen this error and how do I fix it please?

I found out that this only happening in Firefox. Once the error appears if you refresh the page with the error message still showing it will go to a paypal login page.

INTERESTING > what happens here. Page at Paypal looks totally different then using EI7.

In Firefox it only shows two boxes with login details. Page looks unusual??

In EI it shows login details and the paypal header plus some other stuff and page looks normal.

    Any ideas why ?

As you have advised, I have re uploaded all of the new 1.3.7 files using FileZilla FTP to the site . I still have the same problem.

As I have said before it shows the paypal error as before BUT while the error is on my screen and if I place my cursur at the end of the URL window where it says 'https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr' and hit enter, I can see the URL changing into >> https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/wapap...EyyNevRyjuXsIm which then opens the window with login details.

This page only has Paypal logo on the top left
a horizontal line under it and under that only

    Log In to PayPal
Email Address:has the contact email (not the paypal email)

    PayPal Password:

    Log in with PIN

    ON THE OTHER HAND
If you do the same procedure with EI it works fine.

    That is the problem.

red flag Re: outdated version of PayPal error

I found some answers here http://www.webmasterworld.com/ecommerce/3067319.htm . Problem isn't zen problem. How ever its a really confusing problem for the users.

In my case when I am presented by

'Error You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks. '

message and if I go and enter in the URL (or click the little green arrow at the end of the URL window) it takes me to login page BUT now I have also discovered that if you enter your email and password it takes you to another page where it wants you to activate your mobile phone number. I know this is a new payment system by paypal but its totally confusing to the users who are used to old login pages. None of this happens in EI.
