Installation confusion!

Hi,

i'm in the midst of trying to install zencart, i've uploaded and changed the file permissions but i'm getting:

Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

When i try to view the page... I know it has something to do with the index.php file, but any info on how to get it working would be great!

could you have possable uploaded to the wrong directory on your server?

New Installation
Upload the catalog directory to your server using FTP.
All PHP files must be uploaded in ASCII mode, not binary mode.

Upload the catalog folder which includes the admin folder to your document root
(public_html, www, htdocs) using FTP.

Using phpMyAdmin or another tool, create your database and user, and assign that user
to the database. Write down the name of the database, username, and password for this
database for the database installation procedure.

Open your web browser and go to http://yoursite/yourcatalog/zc_install/ and click on the
Install button.
The following instructions will guide you to configuring the online store for your server.

If this is a localhost that goes to localhost/yoursite/yourcatalog/zc_install

Are you on a Windows server?
If you are you must remove the three separate .htaccess files using the server's control panel.
