application error Step 1 of checkout explodes

    Hi All,

I was doing well on customizing everything until I tried checking out. I have no idea what is causing this? I've tried reducing the child div's etc but everything seems to have gone awry. I disable the IP Address and it oddly shows back up and my banner is at the bottom? Any thoughts? I attached a screenshot but if you want to sign up and try to check out, go for it....

    Thanks in advance!

    Nixon

it looks like a clearbreak (ie clear: both) was removed from something (Mmmm, css float)

your site is down for maintenance, so I can't check it for myself

    Hi TMC,

It's there :) It can be found here:

    http://www.cyberwarehouse.com/store/

You'll have to sign up etc. Regarding the clear issue. I have no clue. I've tried everything. It is as though, contentMainWrapper & all of the other child containers are being displayed outside of MainWrapper.

Possibly a broken shipping module? Anything new there?

I think the store manager (who really doesn't know what he's doing) re-installed a Fed-Ex shipping Module after I re-installed Zen. Could this be a problem? If so, what should I do in the event that the Module is still needed?

    Thanks everyone for your help!

This could be the clue you're looking for to get to the bottom of this.

Go to admin and deinstall the module; then try checking out again.

Can you find your web server logs and see if there's a message in there?
    It might be something like:

    Code:
[client 127.0.0.1] PHP Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /var/www/html/dunfoo/includes/functions/functions_prices.php on line 202, referer: http://localhost/dunfoo/index.php?main_page=checkout_payment

    Hi SW Guy,

I'm more of designer than "server" guy so excuse my ignorance. Which log would I look at? The site is hosted with 1&1 and on the remote side there is a "log" folder with about 30 files. Most of which ending in .gz? These logs? What would these logs tell you?

The trouble is, I don't know if they give you access to it. If you had shell access, it would be
/var/log/httpd/error.log. You might call your support line and see if they can tell you how to get it.
