MultiSite Module Support Thread

I have successfully installed the script (on Zen 1.3.9), sideboxes/search etc are all working, but am having a problem with my custom tpl_header.php file.

Thought I might be able to help at first, but the only location I know for the cat_filter is after a $db->Execute which isn't present. I'm afraid I too don't know enough about php to help.

I am working on an update for zen cart 1.5.1 . I have it working on a test site, but a lot of files need to be modified and checked, so please be patient and give me another week or so.

Sorry Kobra, but that is not how it works.

There is one Zen Cart installation, each domain will be assigned its own template (fileset) within this installation.
The edits in this mod determine which domain use what files, categories and products.

I am not going to argue how it can be done, or what is better , but this module was intended to use the templates see point 5 from the installation manual

Step 5: Make a Template for each site
We assume that you already have a Zen-cart shop installed with some categories and products.
You need to have a 2nd template that will be use for your 2nd shop. You can simply copy and past
the one from your folder "includes/template/[YOUR_TEMPLATE]" Or you can download some
from www.zen-cart.com.

Read all of the manual where site1 and site2 are different domains
What you posted is to notify the database which template each domain uses
Remember - that only one database runs all multi-site shops

In this file, you have to add as many add_site_link(...); as you want of site links.
Example:
add_site_link('Shop Site1','http://www.site1.com');
add_site_link('Shop Site2','http://www.site2.com');
