Gift Cert and paypal question

When a customer uses a GC to pay for their complete purchase, my cart takes them to paypal where their balance is 0.00, but then the order never comes through to me. This doesn't happen if they pay an amount through paypal, only if it's 0.00. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!

What addons/contributions are installed?
What customizations have you made?
Are these orders taxed or non-taxed?

I have version 1.3.7. The only add-on is a sales report. And the orders are not taxed.

Express Checkout or PayPal IPN ?


Naturally, what you described should not happen, and I haven't seen that in testing, so ... trying to figure out how to reproduce it on a fresh install ...

Can you supply a list of the prices involved ... for your products and your subtotals during checkout when this happens?

Below is a copy of the order that went through, because I told her to not pay the whole thing with her GC. She paid .72 cents through paypal. But before that she was trying to use her GC on the whole amount, and it would not go through.
