Hi, Newbie needs help, what a suprise!!!

Hello all thanks for taking a look at my prob , i know a little about html and enough to design web sites and get them up using photoshop, imageready, dreamweaver, ftp...ect, i would love to learn how to get a cart working with this new project i am doing so i choose zen cart as it seems easy to implement.

i have set all permissions as per that page said i even tried to set them as 777 but still no joy, i am using mac OSX latest system also, any ideas?

My ultimate goal is to add google checkout to my gallery pages thats why i am trying to add this cart, can i do this once i have got the cart up?

i have a website and i have added google checkout but i can't get it to work because it needs a API callback URL
, to my way of thinking i need to set up zencart and then implement googlecheckout????
