I have a client who offers a general 20%
off retail price on all their products. The
client also has a group of customers
whom they wish to offer an additional 5%
to.

I have used salemaker to deduct 20%
off on their entire catalog and have
created a coupon code for the members
of this group to enter when making a
purchase.

My problem is that the 5% is being
deducted after the 20% has been taken
from the original price as opposed to
making the overall discount 25% off.

I'm new to zencart and am unsure if I am
approaching this problem in the best way.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can
combine discounts with a coupon
before calculating the final price?

And is there a way to apply the overall
20% discount other than using the
salemaker on the entire inventory?
