Basically you just want to add associated images into your /public_html/shop/images/ file. In post #6 of this thread Ajeh breaks down how to associate photos:

You might also want to consider installing the Image Handler 2 module. It does a lot of the work for you, improves site performance etc.

I would definitely recommend Image Handler 2..... I tried the naming conventions in ver1.3.7 and I could never get them to work. IH2 fixed it right up for me without 25 tylenol.

Ive installed IH2, everything looks good... but how do customers see the different pictures?

mtlfloss, how? look here , hover over different products. Some have the same image, just larger, and others have a totally different larger image upon hover.
Then if you decide you like Image Handler, and what it does, install it, then check here for any questions concerning installation, errors, uploading images, or any other problems you might face while getting Image Handler set up.
